A courtyard garden for a barn conversion in Cranleigh, Surrey. The client asked for a design that they would be able to implement themselves, incorporating an existing brick circle thought to be the remains of a milling stone and using predominantly hard landscaping materials recovered from the old barn. Planting includes Box spheres and low hedging for structural year round interest. Requirements: Area for dining out and entertaining, water feature and separate seating area. Garden featured in The Times Magazine, 12th July 2008.
